At the request of a friend who was frustrated with her belly fat and was looking to lose weight in order to feel good about herself, I agreed to look into this product. If there is one thing that I excel at it is researching products or services in great detail before buying them. I literally spend hours looking for as much information as possible so as to avoid the mistakes I have made in the past, which have led me to wasting money on false promises.
From get rich schemes and various suspect fitness products I have been ripped off several times but am far more cautious now. As a favour to my friend, I did as much digging around as I could on The Truth About Six Pack Abs, and I would like to share with you what I found.
The Real Deal?
The question I needed to answer was whether or not The Truth About Six Pack Abs by Mike Geary was just another typical poor internet product that simply leaves you with regret and less money, or is this training program actually something that can change your life and help you lose fat in order to be fit?
I will admit that when I first heard about The Truth About Abs, I laughed at my friend and dismissed it as yet another money making scheme, but I also knew she was quite desperate to get rid of her belly fat, especially after her pregnancy.
To begin my research, I started at the source, www.truthaboutabs.com. I was expecting one of those squeeze pages that have a super long sales letter with no actual option to visit web pages or learn more about the company. So I was pleased to see tabs at the top that let you learn about Mike Geary, pictured below who created the product, (wicked abs- I am thoroughly jealous!). You can also read testimonials, view a contact us page (wow- an online company with people behind it), read the FAQ section and more.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Mike Geary is actually a well respected Certified Nutrition Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer who has helped thousands of people achieve their weight loss goals. He has appeared as a guest on a number of radio shows and has written articles in several fitness magazines. He has earned a reputation for helping thousands of people lose their stubborn belly fat and get into shape. He has also written dozens and dozens of free articles ranging from how to exercise properly and get your six pack to come out for everyone to see 🙂 , to tips on nutrition and diet, including some really delicious recipes. I have now read around 15 of his articles and recently signed up for his free newsletter where you get weekly articles on nutrition and health conveniently sent to your email. These are very high quality, well written materials and I am quite shocked at some of the myths that exist in the fitness world. You might be interested in reading some of his belly fat loss articles, a number of which you can find at the bottom of his home page.
My Problem Reviewing The Truth About Abs Program
Ok, so I will admit that I ran into a bit of a problem trying to review this program. You can’t properly review something unless you actually try it. I mean, this is not like an IPod where you can rely on Amazon or Best Buy customer reviews, walk into the store and test it. Rather you are left to read how the program supposedly worked for others. But just because something works for other people doesn’t mean it will work for you. So I was pleased to discover that you can try the Truth About Six Pack Abs program for 60 days, and if you don’t like it, you can get a full refund. More than enough time to put this training to the test.
The program is split up into 2 main sections. Section one goes over nutrition, while the second is focused on specific exercises. The first thing that caught my attention was that the book is very thorough with 149 pages of easy to understand and detailed information. I was somewhat intimidated at first, but also committed to the program now that I had purchased it and wanted to see if it would work. I spent 3 days reading the book from cover to cover and could not believe the things I learned. I felt so stupid for thinking that ab exercises would actually get rid of my fat and show my 6 pack. You already have a six pack, but it will never show if you don’t properly get rid of your belly fat. Ab exercises will not do that but fortunately, this is exactly what this program is designed to help you do.
The style of the book is very clear and concise, and there is no fluff or filler, unlike other ridiculous rehashed junk e-books I have read online. What I really like about this book is that it is literally a step by step guide. One thing I have struggled with is knowing what to eat and I am pleased to say that there are detailed nutrition tips, diet plans including portion sizes and calories and all of the exercises are explained in great detail with high quality photographs, so there is no guesswork on your part.
Most of the book is dedicated to twenty effective abdominal exercises, each illustrated to make them easier to follow. There were quite a few exercises I had never even heard of. What I really like is that you do not have to work out every day, and instead only have to stick to a regular schedule of 30-45 minute workouts between 2 and 3 times a week. Perfect for lazy people like me to get a metabolism boost!
Best of all, many of the exercises can very easily be done at home and around your own schedule. Personally my favorite ones are those which incorporate an exercise ball. This is great because I can get an ab workout in at home after a long day at work without the need or stress to rush off to my gym.
So What Makes The Truth About Six Pack Abs Different?
Personally, I believe it has to do with the fact that Mike Geary incorporates solid nutrition and diet advice along with a unique way of working out that is different than many programs out there. Albert Einstein once said that the definition of insanity is, “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” This rings so true especially now that I am trying something different which, for a change, is giving me results.

- Is Truth About Six Pack Abs by Mike Geary for everybody?
It depends. Are you looking to lose weight, especially on your stomach? Do you want to have your abdominal muscles showing or do you prefer fat protruding instead? In all seriousness, in order to benefits from this program, you have to be willing to work hard. If you are lazy and just looking for the easy way out, I have news for you. It is time to wake up and realize that a fit body does not come easily. Diet pills are often full of garbage, but people buy them because they are “easy”. Easy for the manufacturers to play on your emotions while robbing you blind as you think the pills are working.
The Truth About Abs program is designed to give the most benefit to men who are trying to build an awesome looking six pack, but the beauty is that the program works great for women who want a flatter stomach too, as my friend can attest to. Anyone who is looking to tone up their midsection will benefit from this book.
Like I mentioned to my friend, I was expecting to come out of this finding a poor or average quality product. Instead, what I discovered was actually a very solid product created by someone who has walked his talk. I am actually grateful that I learned more about The Truth About Six Pack Abs because I have personally discovered so much and am actually starting to see some results. The program is easily worth the $39.95 price tag. And the beauty is that it comes with a 60 day money back guarantee, as previously mentioned, so you can literally try the program and if you don’t like what you see, ask for a full refund. Clearly Mike Geary is so confident his product will work for you, that he is willing to take this big risk.
If you are looking for a way to finally accomplish your belly fat loss goals and get into better shape while eating right, this is a fantastic, affordable program that can change your life, IF you’re willing to commit yourself to the program. You have to be committed to building better abdominals, losing your tummy fat and read the book, while following through with the workouts and the nutritional plan. It’s been nearly 4 weeks now and I have lost over an inch of stomach fat and feel way more energetic which is very exciting for me personally.
If you’re really dedicated to getting rock hard six pack abs or just flattening your stomach, this program comes highly recommended.
